This is the 5th annual Avalanche Professional Development Seminar. The seminar title is Avalanche Science.

Guest Speaker: Bruce Jamieson of the University of Calgary, Applied Snow and Avalanche Research. Other speakers include MSU professors Ed Adams, Dan Miller and Jerry Johnson; our own Eric Knoff and Karl Birkeland; Ron Simmenhois from Juneau Alaska and  MSU grad students Ian Hoyer and Alex Marienthal.

 

When: Wednesday, April 2; 0830-1630

Where: Bozeman Public Library; big room across from coffee shop

Who: The GNFAC and Friends are hosting it.

Why: Because it’s fun and we all need to challenge our minds a bit.

Cost: $50 donation to the Friends of the Avalanche Center. This gets you the seminar, coffee and some breakfast bagels/muffins.
