Big Rig Dance Collective presents Converge, an evening of new dance works investigating intersections between loops, disruption, endurance, and construction. Featuring complex partnering, self-imposed obstacles, and impulsive design, Converge aims to test the boundaries of physical and conceptual dynamics.

Converge not only includes over 20 highly skilled dancers from across the DFW Metroplex, but it also utilizes moveable wall structures, designed in collaboration with Jesse Scroggins, and highlights original sound composition by Westin Ox-King Portillo and Momentary Gamelan Ensemble. Choreographers include all four BRDC Co-Directors: Crysta Caulkins-Clouse, Whitney Geldon, Lily Sloan, and Amanda Jackson with long-time collaborator, Meredith Knight. 

BRDC’s Converge takes place at the POINTBank Black Box Theatre in downtown Denton, TX on May 16 & 17 at 8 pm. www.bigrigdance.org.
