Event Details

Twain & Shaw Do Lunch is an original work written by Hendersonville, Tennessee native, Chambers Stevens. In 1907 the world's two greatest living writers had lunch together. This, their first and last meeting was monumental.Mark Twain, nearing the end of his life , had just traveled the world, paying off massive debts with a spectacular series of speaking engagements.George Bernard Shaw, on the verge of becoming the greatest playwright since Shakespeare, invites his hero to his house for lunch. These two great men have so much in common...Brilliant Storytellers...Razor Sharp Wit...Vanity.... Just two great minds having a friendly meeting over lunch...It would be Mrs. Shaw's job to make sure they don't destroy each other. Directed by veteran Nashville director,  Melissa Carelli. Produced in association with In Another Life, Genuine Human Productions & Maverick Entertainment Group.

Ticket price includes secure parking in parking lot adjacent to venue and lite refreshments.

Please be advised that due some physical constraints with the staging area & theater that the seating arrangement has had to be slightly altered from the diagram on the ticketing site. There is now only 1 aisle instead of 2. If you absolutely need an aisle seat let us know & we will do our best to accomodate. Also, we had to reconfigure Row D and all of those seats are not in a straight row but have actually been moved forward. Seats 12 & 13 on Row D have less of a view & are slightly obstructed. We are only selling them once the rest of the seats sell out. Your indulgence on this issue is appreciated but the changes had to be made due to challenges faced with staging a show for the first time in this venue.

Friday NOVEMBER 14 is now officially SOLD OUT !!! There is no room for stand by or SRO. You can call 615-734-9932 to be put on a waiting list if any tickets become available between now & 7:15 pm. DO NOT purchase a STAND BY SEAT. We will have to refund it.

Also, the show for NOVEMBER 15th is SOLD OUT. Unfortunately, there is not enough space for STAND BY seating or SRO. Do not purchase a STAND BY SEAT. we will be unable to honor it. Any STAND BY SEATS purchased will be refunded. THANKS.
