Grey Goose, the world's best tasting vodka presents the Forbes Brothers wsg Brian Thomas and GRR.

Fueled by the songwriting of Scott and Dennis Forbes, the Forbes Brothers are a force on the Detroit Country Music Scene. Recipients of over 25 Detroit Music Awards, they have forged a unique sound and style all  their own. Drawing from a palette that includes country, blues, rock and Motown, the band creates music that transcends traditional categories. 

Opening the show will be Seattle-based musician Brian Thomas who calls Mackinac his home each summer, while taking a break from playing in the indie/folk band Rosie Thomas. He is an incredible musician and his voice makes us all wish he would never stop singing.

GRR  takes the stage after Brian Thomas and features bassist Gary Rasmussen (Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, Blue Stone Project, Sonic Rendevous) with blues-rock singer guitarist Rudy "Rude Dog" Gerbo. Rudy's voice makes women swoon with his Greg Allman meets Bob Seger smooth grit and Gary's bass playing is from another planet completely, we can't wait to welcome them back to the festival stage.
