The Weston High Theater Company concludes its award-winning 2014-2015 season with the uproarious Broadway musical comedy The Addams Family. Based on the beloved New Yorker cartoons by Charles Addams, the musical follows the teenage Wednesday Addams’ relationship with “normal” boy Lucas Beineke and the problems that result in both families. Will the Beinekes approve of their son’s marriage into the creepy but funny Addams family? Will Gomez’s support of Wednesday cause a rift with his beloved Morticia? Will Uncle Fester find love before Pugsley blows everything up? In spite of some mild innuendo, The Addams Family is appropriate (and ghoulish) for all ages.
