For The Love Of It

'For The Love Of It..'is a play about several New Yorkers dealing with the troubles of life and love, but are all met with a voice of reason which helps them see what matters most to them. Which is ultimately following their heart's true desires.

Broken up into three one act plays, we discover in act one, that Trish is having a hard time trying to determine if she wants to continue going after her dream of making it big on Broadway or should she give it all up and run away from this concrete jungle where dreams are made of. That is until she's reunited with her old castmate, Mike who helps her make that decision by giving her some tough love.

In act two, we meet an unapologetic spirit named Delores who spends her days reaching out to passerbyers who may or may not need her words of wisdom. One of those passerbyers is Shawn, a busy guy trying to get by unoticed. Fortunately for him, Delores can't help but to notice everything about him. Even the things he's been trying to hide most of his life.

In the last act of the show, we meet Sloan. A woman determined to take her man back after New York took him from her. Riding the L train to Brooklyn, she meets Bridget, a woman fresh from yet another disapointing date. While getting to know one another, the two women share their thoughts on love's ups and downs, and why through it all, love always wins in the end.
