Austin Scottish Rite Theater is an Austin gem – a fully operational modern theater thriving within a stunning historic landmark. SRT is Austin’s oldest theater, erected in 1871, the same year Austin became the capitol of Texas. For forty years it was a German opera house; then in 1914 it became the home of the Scottish Rite Masons who treasured the site and remain watchful tenants of the building.
Vadim Kolpakov is one of the most prominent and renowned Romani (Gypsy) 7-string guitarists in the world, as well as vocalist, dancer and composer. He comes from a well-known Kolpakov music dynasty that has three generations of virtuoso guitarists. Vadim specializes in Gypsy music from Europe with the fusion of Jazz, Pop, Flamenco, Latin and other World Music. Mr. Kolpakov was a lead musician of the famous Romani (Gypsy) Theatre “Romen”, where he performed as a guitarist, composer, vocalist, dancer and dramatic actor. In 2008, Vadim Kolpakov as a member of the Kolpakov Trio, went on the two years world tour "Sticky & Sweet" with Madonna. Vadim has performed extensively worldwide. Oliver Rajamani
Oliver Rajamani performs innovative soul stirring original music adding color, spice and passion to the Texas musical landscape. Rajamani has created a sound of his own with the cultural and musical threads of Gypsy/folk India, European Romani (Gypsy), and Texas Americana while bringing recognition to the historical Indian origins of the Romani people. He sings in various languages including English, Romani and languages of India. An Austin, Texas World Music award winner, a nominee of the 2008 US Artist Award and the 2014 nominee of the prestigious German music award “Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik Oliver Rajamani “BESTENLISTE-Vierteljahrespreis 1/2014 Weltmusik. Rajamani has toured internationally and has recorded and performed with poets and artists wide-ranging in style including Jeronimo Maya, Gypsy Kings, Willie Nelson, Edie Brickell, L. Via Romen Artists
Nicolas Adams (flamenco/classical/Gypsy guitar) is in a 5th generation musician of American Serbian Roma (Gypsy) family. Ambitious and self-taught, Nic has been playing professionally since the age of 12 and specializes in a variety of stringed instruments. He is eclectic by nature and accomplished playing everything from traditional classics to cutting-edge, contemporary music.

Because of the on-going war, the Ukrainian–Romani singer Alina Nazarevich recently relocated to the US. In her native Kiev she was a star of Gypsy music, and now she brings her expertise to the US, as a part of Via Romen ensemble, as well as a Duo with Vadim Kolpakov, and her solo performances.

Alla Rada (dancer) was born in the city of Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, a rich center of fine and performing arts. At an early age she discovered her passion for both music and dance, and since then, both have been an integral part of her life from a range of dance styles such as Ballet, Ballroom and a variety World Folk dances and ofcourse her most beloved Romani dance! 

The excellent instrumentalist from Moldova, Valeriy Glava (violin) best represents the fiery instrumental music of the Romanian/Moldovian Roma as “Lautari" as well as Balkan and other European Gypsy tradition.

Steven Husted By the time Steven was 23, he was one of the top call bassists in the San Francisco Bay Area, including 6 years teaching at the acclaimed Stanford Jazz Workshop. Steven has played with many jazz greats including Kenny Burrell, Billy Higgins, and Vince Wallace.www.stevenhusted.com
