The Jeremiahs - An Irish Music Concert

Coolbawn Road Productions is back and very pleased to announce the return to Worcester of the Irish band The Jeremiahs. 

The concert will take place at the Hibernian Cultural Centre, 19 Temple Street in Worcester at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023.
  

From their outset in 2013, The Jeremiahs grabbed the attention of Irish Music Magazine’s Sean Laffey who commented that they were “One of the freshest bands in traditional music“ and Live Ireland who gushed  “They are the real deal”  Their last visit to Worcester was in 2017 and they brought the house down. 

 

The band features Joe Gibney, chosen by Chicago’s Irish American News as its Male Vocalist of the Year in 2015.  Julien Bruneteau on whistle and flutes; Julien hails from Brittany and began playing the flute at the age of 11. Dublin based James Ryan a winner of The Christy Moore Songwriter Showcase. holds down the rhythm section on guitar and bouzouki and a few choice effects pedals;  Last, but by no means least, the most recent addition to the line-up, Niamh Varian-Barry, former lead singer of one of the biggest bands in Irish music, ‘Solas’ on fiddle and vocals. 

 

Thus far the band has graced many stages during successful tours in countries such as Ireland, Russia, Germany, Denmark, England and Scotland.
